It’s hard to be a human being. For reasons from personal to global, many of us live with some level of anxiety, pain, or fear held in our body, impacting our health, relationships, and ability to be truly present in our lives. Our nervous system needs safety, time and space to relax - a break from the non-stop pace of daily life, a reprieve from the habitual bracing that comes from stress, past traumas or simply living in the current culture of urgency and productivity. When we take time to slow down, listen to, and tend to our breathing bodies, we tune into what is needed, balancing movement with rest.
